Dota 2 The International 2025: Schedule, Format, Streams, Secret Shops & more
The wait is almost over as Dota 2’s annual event, The International 2025, is just around the corner. Players and fans worldwide are already building Fantasy rosters, unlocking player bundles, and spamming fresh voice lines. If you haven’t joined in yet, now is the perfect time because the road to the Aegis of Champions begins in Hamburg, Germany, this week.

The Road to The International 2025 (TI14)
The Road to The International 2025 (TI14) will have the following format:
- Playoffs: Sixteen teams will compete in a five-round Swiss format, starting on Thursday, September 4, and concluding on Sunday, September 7.
- Format:
- Teams face others with the same record in best-of-three matches.
- Four wins = qualification to The International.
- Four losses = elimination.
- After five rounds:
- 3 teams qualify for the TI14 main event.
- 3 teams are eliminated.
- The remaining 10 teams play elimination matches, with 5 advancing to The International Main Event.
Every match on Sunday, September 7, will be a do-or-die match.
The International 2025 (TI14) Main Event
- Dates: September 11–14, 2025
- Venue: Barclays Arena, Hamburg
- Grand Finals: Sunday, September 14
The International 2025 Main Event will be held at the Barclays Arena in Hamburg in front of a live audience.
Tickets for The International 2025 on Saturday and Sunday are sold out; however, tickets for Thursday and Friday are still available via AXS. Fans can also meet their favourite teams during signing sessions on the first two days.
