The International 2025 (TI14) Group Stage schedule has been officially revealed, with Dota 2 teams set to compete in a Swiss-system format in Hamburg, Germany. The first-round matchups will witness teams engaging in an epic battle to qualify for the main event.
The first round of matchups for The International 2025 (TI14) Group Stage can be found below:
Aurora faces the Chinese giant Xtreme Gaming in the first series, while HEROIC faces the mighty PARIVISION. Both Eastern European teams have been in prime form, but anything can happen at TI, especially when China and South America are involved.
Wildcard goes up against the big boss, Team Spirit, being popularly dubbed the ‘big boss’ by fans on public forums. Meanwhile, Team Liquid faces BOOM Esports in a heavily-favoured matchup for the defending TI champions.
A true David versus Goliath battle, Team Falcons and Team Nemesis will try to showcase their skills in the first series of the day on Stream C. However, it’ll be more exciting to see BetBoom face a resurgent Nigma Galaxy, who are attending their first TI since the organisation’s inception.
Tundra Esports faces the last-minute replacement for Gaimin Gladiators – Yakutou Brothers from China. On the other hand, Team Tidebound will battle Natus Vincere, the legendary organisation gracing the International scene once again after a long absence.
After the first round of matchups is over, the next set of matches will be decided according to the team scores. You can find more information on how the Swiss bracket works here.
